301 Angolans apply for course; 1/3 are women

Within a three-week period, 301 people, of which 1/3 are women, applied for the participation in the course “Journalism and Video-Reportage Techniques”, which will be held in Lobito, Angola by the Minibus Media team, in partnership with the local NGO Projecto Omunga-Okutiuka. The course is supported by the Royal Embassy of the Netherlands in Luanda. Lastly, 11 participants, five women and six men, ages 18 to 30 years, were selected to participate in the first phase of the two-week project. The course aims, among other things, to come up with a video-documentary that can be used as a civic education tool during the country´s electoral registration process.
